Founding Product Designer

Intro is seeking a Founding Product Designer to shape the design process from early concepts through shipped product for mobile and web. This is an end-to-end role grounded in user-centered design, research-informed iteration, and the creation of a consistent design system as the product evolves.

Based in Venice, CA, this position is onsite and is designed for someone who can lead design work independently while partnering closely across product and engineering.

What you’ll do

• Own the design process from ideation to execution across mobile and web
• Design intuitive, user-centered experiences using research, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to iterate and refine product features
• Build and maintain a cohesive design system to support consistency across the platform
• Run user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions
• Mentor junior designers and help build a culture focused on design excellence and continuous improvement

What you bring

• 5+ years of product design experience, plus a strong portfolio featuring impactful mobile and web work
• Proficiency with design tools including Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, and experience creating interactive prototypes
• Strong grasp of interaction design, visual design, and UX principles
• Demonstrated experience conducting user research and usability testing, with the ability to translate findings into actionable improvements
• Comfort working autonomously and collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Excellent communication skills for presenting and justifying design decisions clearly

How onboarding and perks are approached

• On your first day, you’ll complete exercises to identify life goals
• After identifying your goals, Intro works together with you to help make them a reality
• You’ll also share what matters to you in the short term, which can include things like a gym membership, meditation classes, or an allowance for concerts
• Intro will create an open-ended perks package designed to help you feel valued
• Please note: they cannot yet buy a ticket on a SpaceX rocket
• Compensation range: $175K - $250K
