Job Description
This forward-deployed Front End Engineer role focuses on building and deploying full-stack Command and Control (C2) software for multi-modal autonomous systems used in operational and tactical missions. The work includes integration into the Palantir platform and deployment across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
Responsibilities
- Build, test, integrate, and deploy mission-critical full-stack software solutions for C2 of multi-modal autonomous systems.
- Integrate full-stack Autonomy C2 solutions into the Palantir platform alongside AI and autonomy capabilities, including sensor and data fusion services, agentic decision-making engines, and robotic control systems.
- Drive practical deployment outcomes across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid-cloud environments, addressing challenges related to deployment, system integration, security, and user experience.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams spanning sensing and fusion, artificial intelligence, systems engineering, user experience, and hardware and robotics to deliver cohesive, well-integrated solutions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience integrating and deploying software to cloud, on-prem, or hybrid environments.
- Strong proficiency in one or more of the following: JavaScript (JS), TypeScript (TS), Python, Rust, or Java.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React.
- Strong integration skills, including experience with software deployment, CI and automation tools, working with APIs and documentation, networking, security and authentication, and Linux/GNU.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s (or significant relevant work experience) in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance.
- Ability to travel 25-75%, which varies by location and team.
