Job Description
XR, LLC. is hiring a full-time Ecommerce Creative Digital Designer / Marketing to lead digital design and execution across multiple high-volume ecommerce storefronts. The role focuses on ecommerce email campaigns, homepage and promotional website creative, product imagery optimization, and customer-facing marketing assets while collaborating cross-functionally to support engagement and ecommerce growth.
Role Overview
This onsite position in Huntington Beach, CA supports four ecommerce brands through a consistent, brand-specific visual direction. You will produce high-volume email creative, monthly website promotions, and supporting digital assets, while maintaining accuracy across devices and email rendering environments.
Responsibilities
- Design three email campaigns per storefront each week, totaling approximately 12 campaigns weekly across four ecommerce brands.
- Manage each campaign from written creative brief through final, approved, CRM-ready assets.
- Maintain a rolling production calendar that stays at least two weeks ahead of scheduled deployment.
- Create mobile-first email campaigns that include strong hero graphics, product modules, promotional messaging, clear calls to action, countdown timers, animated GIFs, and interactive elements when appropriate.
- Maintain distinct visual identity, design style, tone, and customer experience for each ecommerce storefront.
- Follow established review and approval processes with Marketing to ensure creative accuracy, brand consistency, and deployment readiness.
- Incorporate feedback and complete revisions within established timelines without disrupting the broader campaign schedule.
- Design and deliver homepage hero graphics, category banners, promotional bars, landing page assets, and supporting website creative for monthly campaigns and promotional launches.
- Maintain current, conversion-focused creative across all four storefronts, including seasonal campaigns, product launches, and sales events.
- Review and validate creative assets across desktop, tablet, mobile devices, and major browsers before launch.
- Partner with Marketing, Ecommerce, and IT to ensure assets are properly implemented and presented across each storefront.
- Edit and optimize product photography by retouching, recoloring, compositing, resizing, and optimizing to professional ecommerce standards.
- Use AI-assisted creative tools to generate high-quality lifestyle imagery while keeping finished assets realistic, brand-appropriate, commercially usable, and aligned with company standards.
- Integrate actual product imagery into AI-generated lifestyle environments while maintaining product accuracy, proportions, color, and believability.
- Refresh and modernize creative assets for legacy products and older catalog content, maintaining consistent visual presentation across product imagery, emails, and digital marketing materials.
- Create digital marketing assets supporting website promotions, email marketing, SMS campaigns, social media, paid advertising, digital campaigns, and other initiatives.
- Produce static, animated, and motion-based creative when required, and effectively prioritize ad hoc requests while maintaining scheduled deadlines.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Ecommerce, IT, Product Development, and Leadership to execute digital initiatives.
- Organize and maintain creative working files, approved assets, templates, and brand resources for internal use.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to prioritize assignments, manage the creative calendar, and support departmental goals.
- Follow established creative workflows from briefing and concept development through review, refinement, approval, and final delivery.
- Communicate project status, scheduling concerns, technical limitations, and potential delays in a timely and solutions-oriented manner.
- Recommend improvements to design processes, templates, tools, and creative workflows to support continuous improvement.
