Vontavius Tech Support is seeking a Web Designer to help shape brand-consistent, intuitive web experiences from concept through delivery. Based in Collierville, TN, this onsite role focuses on UX optimization, responsive design, and building websites that are technically feasible, fast, and scalable.
The position centers on turning design ideas into usable interfaces while partnering with teams and stakeholders throughout the process. You will also be responsible for validating user input before it reaches the back-end and for ensuring sites perform reliably across devices and browsers.
What you’ll do
- Conceptualize and create web experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and aligned with brand standards
- Continually improve and optimize user experience across websites
- Collaborate cross-functionally on concept development and design ideation to support creative strategy
- Ensure UI and UX designs are technically feasible
- Apply responsive design techniques so experiences work well on all devices
- Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability
- Validate user input prior to submission to the back-end
- Work with team members and stakeholders to coordinate on outcomes
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in web design
- Proficiency with Photoshop and other graphics tools such as Illustrator and Image Ready
- Deep understanding of HTML and CSS
- Strong knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and approaches to address them
- Good understanding of SEO principles and how to ensure a website adheres to them
- Knowledge of building sites with tools like Elementor, Wix, WordPress, and Squarespace
- Proficiency with Slack, Google Workspace, and Hubspot apps
- Understanding of web hosting, email, and FTP setup, management, and use
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in web design
