Digital / Sr Digital Designer

FedEx is seeking a Digital / Sr Digital Designer to join its Digital Marketing organization in Collierville, Tennessee, with remote eligibility. In this role, you will help shape user experience direction and deliver high-impact digital product experiences by leading UX strategy, discovery, and design collaboration across the product lifecycle.

Working within Digital Marketing, this designer position supports UX strategy for a product area or customer journey and partners with research and analytics to turn user needs into thoughtful product outcomes. The role also emphasizes leadership through workshops, sprints, critique, mentoring, and ongoing improvements to design standards and tooling.

What you’ll do

• Own UX strategy for a product area or customer journey.
• Guide discovery activities and collaborate with research and analytics partners.
• Lead design sprints, workshops, and design critiques to align teams and advance solutions.
• Mentor junior designers and provide structured feedback.
• Contribute to design standards, documentation, and tooling improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring

• 4 years of experience leading product design within digital teams.
• Experience in service design, enterprise UX, or platform design spanning UX, visual, and interaction design.
• Ability to lead through ambiguity and uncover user needs.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across disciplines.
• A user-centered design process and fluency in design thinking.
• Exposure to behavioral data, experimentation, or research synthesis.

Preferred qualifications

• Additional experience with service design, enterprise UX, or platform design.
• Strong understanding of design systems, tokens, and accessibility.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. Alternatively, eight (8) years of practical experience may offset the education requirement.

Location and work model

The role is eligible for remote work and may be located anywhere within the United States excluding AK, HI, and U.S. territories. If you live within a 50-mile radius of a FedEx campus, you will be required to work at a FedEx campus location several times per week.

Compensation: USD 8,007 - 18,149 per month.
