Creative Director/Storyteller
Job Description
VIDAS seeks a Creative Director/Storyteller to shape human-centered narratives around trauma-informed immigration advocacy and to guide brand design across multi-channel communications. The role includes developing audience-ready materials for outreach and education events.
Responsibilities
- Translate legal information into accessible, ethical storytelling that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Guide the evolution of visual identity, including logos and brand kits, to reflect VIDAS mission and team culture.
- Develop content for website, social media, newsletters, and donor communications across multiple channels.
- Maintain a consistent, empathetic brand voice across all platforms.
- Produce tailored outreach and education materials for special groups at various events.
- Assist with planning and hosting special community events to engage supporters.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, journalism, or nonprofit communications with strong narrative capability.
- Deep empathy for the immigrant experience, with a commitment to social justice and equal access.
- Bilingual candidates preferred (English/Spanish or English/Creole).
- Ethical focus on trauma-informed storytelling and strict client confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Suite, or equivalent creative tools.
- Videography and video editing skills.

The Creative Director will bridge complex legal advocacy with human-centered storytelling.
