Creative Director
Job Description
ROKA is hiring a Creative Director in Austin, TX to lead the brand’s creative vision and drive execution across channels.
Responsibilities
- Own the creative vision and execution for ROKA brand work across digital, social, email, web, retail, print, packaging, and campaign initiatives
- Design, deliver, and collaborate on both tactical and strategic creative efforts
- Stay closely involved in day-to-day execution and contribute hands-on when needed
- Lead creative development from concept through production, ensuring delivery with speed, quality, and strong attention to detail
- Partner with marketing and cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into compelling creative campaigns and experiences
- Maintain a consistent, elevated brand experience across all channels and customer touchpoints
- Evolve brand standards as needed to keep creative output cutting edge and relevant while remaining consistent across platforms
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building and leading creative work; experience with a premium consumer brand is a major plus
- Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- HTML and web knowledge; Prismic CMS and WebFlow experience is a strong plus
- Proven experience building and managing content production, including partnerships with videographers, photographers, creators, agencies, and freelance talent
- Demonstrated success leading photo and video shoots from concept through final delivery
- Ability to operate as a player/coach, leading teams while remaining an active contributor
- Experience developing integrated campaigns across digital, social, email, web, video, and photography
- Impeccable design aesthetics and strong attention to detail
- Track record of completing long-term, complex projects from inception to delivery
- Ability to prioritize work and deliver quality results on tight deadlines
- Exceptional teamwork, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to present work and manage feedback from multiple stakeholders
- Ability to evaluate creative concepts and copy, and clearly communicate creative direction
- Strong knowledge of key marketing best practices
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment within a small team
- Strong portfolio of recent design work required
