Job Description

Fort Myers, FL on-site Art Director role collaborating with Creative leaders to craft collateral and content that tells a brand and product story across omni channels while preserving brand integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the end-to-end creative process for assigned seasonal campaigns, partnering with a Creative leader to ground concepts, align on shoot execution, and manage assets in line with brand standards.
  • Creates seasonal marketing concepts, initial visuals, and campaign photography for all sales channels.
  • Leads the development and execution of photography and video assets that meet brand objectives and preserve brand integrity across channels.
  • Collaborates with the Creative leader to translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies.
  • Directs brand and campaign photo retouching and cataloging.
  • Partners with the copy team to align copy and art, tell product and brand stories, and develop an asset shooting roadmap for go-to-market creative from delivered assets.
  • Maintains brand individuality and standards across all marketing channels.
  • Utilizes customer data, in partnership with analytics and marketing, to inform design decisions.
  • Follows production schedules, product life cycle timelines, and deliverables while helping manage the team's priorities and time.
  • Keeps current on fashion, style, design, pop culture, and social trends within the competitive landscape.
  • Shares design best practices and creative techniques with the team to elevate skills and methods.
  • May plan and direct photo shoots, including pre and post-production; partners with producers to identify talent and vendors and builds a brand-appropriate model roster.
  • May develop graphics and layouts for all marketing channels and collateral.
  • Role may span multiple brands; duties may vary by brand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work history required.
  • 5+ years on-set art direction for photography.
  • 3+ years in a creative management role.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating on-set art direction, mood boarding, and concept development through execution.
  • 360-degree perspective when concepting or designing.
  • Ability to develop and execute for omni-channel campaigns.
  • Vertical Retail, Fashion, Luxury, or Beauty industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to develop and adhere to strict brand style guides, design systems, and pattern libraries.
  • A strong curiosity to learn the women's intimate apparel landscape, the WHBM brand, and the needs of existing and targeted customers.
  • Experience managing multiple complex creative projects with adaptability to changing business needs.
  • Hands-on experience with concepting and design.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, organizational agility, problem solving skills, and thorough attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, and knowledge of best practices and the development process.
  • Experience with designing and leading typography, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; ability to collaborate in Figma to support a collaborative workflow.
  • Experience with multi-channel campaign development.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building and coaching skills, with a track record of collaborating across teams.
  • Deep understanding of the creative landscape and new digital technologies.
  • Technologies: CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma.
