Web Designer

Group M7, Inc. is looking for a Web Designer to help create modern, user-friendly, responsive websites. This hybrid-friendly role is based in the Tyler office and includes close collaboration with design, development, content, and production teams to move projects from concept to implementation.

What you’ll do

• Design and build visually appealing, modern, and user-friendly websites
• Create responsive designs that perform well across desktop, tablet, and mobile
• Partner with clients and internal teams to understand project goals and design requirements
• Translate branding, content, and project requirements into effective website designs
• Collaborate with developers to help ensure designs are implemented accurately
• Apply updates and revisions based on client and internal feedback
• Maintain consistency in typography, spacing, color, imagery, and overall visual hierarchy
• Support strong user experience and intuitive navigation
• Manage multiple website projects at once while meeting deadlines
• Stay current with web design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies

Key requirements

• Strong understanding of web design principles, layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy
• Knowledge of building websites using Bootstrap
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS/SCSS
• Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or similar tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A portfolio demonstrating previous web design work
• Degree in graphic design, web design, digital media, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience will be considered

Compensation and schedule

• Employment type: Full-Time
• Location: Tyler, TX (Hybrid; in-person and/or hybrid work arrangement)
• Salary: USD 60,000 per year (from $60,000.00 per year), competitive based on experience, skill level, and qualifications
