This onsite Web Designer role is based in Edgewater, New Jersey, and involves close collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams to translate brand needs into practical web concepts.

You will contribute across the project lifecycle, from aligning brand messaging to designing interfaces and supporting usability goals. The position emphasizes teamwork, planning, and delivering thoughtful web experiences that reflect client identities.

Responsibilities

You will help translate client brand needs into web concepts, working with internal teams to provide guidance on concept direction, design choices, production steps, and quality control. You will create interface designs, logos, and interactive prototypes, and you will conduct research to improve usability, accessibility, and overall functionality. You will participate in early project planning, information architecture, and user experience considerations, and you will organize production processes to ensure timely, cost-conscious delivery. The role requires performing under pressure and communicating directions clearly, both verbally and in writing.

  • Interpret a variety of client brand needs and convert them into web concepts that communicate ideas effectively online
  • Collaborate with internal teammates to offer professional recommendations on concept direction, design decisions, production steps, and quality assurance
  • Develop interface designs, logos, and working prototypes for the website
  • Perform research and analysis to improve usability, accessibility, and site functionality
  • Participate in initial project planning, information architecture, and user experience strategy
  • Organize project workflows and production processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
