Web Designer

The Web Designer position at Wind River Hotel & Casino is responsible for maintaining and updating website appearance while ensuring content consistency and visual design alignment with brand standards. The role combines front-end implementation from concept to go-live, backend familiarity for updates and security needs, and production of motion graphic videos for in-property digital displays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
• Design website visual imagery and ensure alignment with brand standards.
• Handle front-end web development, executing visual design stages from concept through go-live.
• Apply backend knowledge to support website updates and address security issues.
• Develop website design ideas that simplify user experiences and address complex roadblocks.
• Present and defend design concepts and key deliverables to marketing peers and executive-level stakeholders.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
• Create short motion graphic videos for digital displays and monitors across the properties.
• Work effectively with all casino personnel.
• Attend all mandatory meetings and trainings.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Designer.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Web Designer.
• Ability to demonstrate graphic design skills through a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with graphic design software, including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, plus other visual design tools.
• Proficiency in front-end web programming languages including HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, and backend familiarity with PHP and Django (or similar).
• Good understanding of content management systems.
• Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and security issues.
• Excellent visual design skills.
• Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
• Creative approach and openness to new ideas.
• Adaptable mindset and willingness to learn new techniques.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Relevant diploma in a related field.
• Ability to demonstrate US work authorization during employment verification.
• Ability to pass a background investigation.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug Test.
• Valid Wyoming Driver’s License.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
