Web Designer

Tower Marketing is seeking a Web Designer in Lancaster, PA (onsite) to craft engaging, modern websites and deliver strong user experiences while supporting clients in expressing their brand voice and identity. This position combines web and print design responsibilities and involves close collaboration with internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, cutting-edge websites for a varied and evolving client base.
• Deliver rich user experiences (UX) across web design deliverables.
• Support clients as they develop and communicate their unique brand voice and identity.
• Handle visual design from discovery through final hand-off to developer(s).
• Meet and present project requirements, wireframes, design work, and creative concepts to internal teams, management, and clients.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director, the internet marketing team, and the web development team.

Design Focus

• 70% web design, including UX/UI, wireframing landing pages, sitemaps, infographics, animations, digital advertisements, and related deliverables. Coding experience is helpful but not required.
• 30% print design, including branding, publication layout design, typography, and print advertisements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in design or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Adobe Creative Cloud tools: Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
• Experience using Figma.
• Positive, inquisitive attitude and genuine passion for the work.
• Ability to stay current with web trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Strong communication skills to clearly explain concepts and ideas with coworkers and clients.

Technologies

• Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
• Figma
• After Effects, Premiere Pro
• Mac platform and devices including iMac, MacBook Pro, iPad, and iPhone

Preferred Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with SEO and SEO principles.
• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Experience with the Mac platform and comfort with Mac devices such as iMac, MacBook Pro, iPad, and iPhone.
• Willingness to write copy for Tower’s website on industry statistics, terms, or blogs related to the web design field.

Education and Application Materials

• Portfolio is required, including website design work. Link submissions without a portfolio will not be considered.
• Experience in a digital marketing agency, specifically with website development, internet marketing, or both.
