Job Description
Accenture is seeking a Visual Design Manager to lead visual design direction and narratives across client and internal engagements. This onsite role in Culver City, CA pairs creative leadership with practical delivery ownership, connecting visual decisions to brand strategy and measurable business impact while using AI to accelerate the workflow.
Location: Culver City, CA (onsite)
Compensation range: USD 87,400 - 266,300 per year
Experience: 7+ years
What you’ll do
- Lead visual design direction on engagements from concept through delivery, ensuring design quality, aesthetic cohesion, and alignment with project timelines.
- Translate abstract briefs, brand strategy, and audience insights into clear, compelling visual languages.
- Set a high visual craft standard and direct the creation of brand identities, design systems, motion, typography, illustration, and digital experiences.
- Balance visionary leadership with hands-on involvement by defining creative direction while staying close to the work and producing high-quality output alongside your team.
- Use AI tools to accelerate concepting, iteration, and production, and demonstrate how AI can enhance creative thinking rather than replace it.
- Act as a leading creative voice in client discussions by sharing visual perspective and translating design rationale into strategic narratives for complex, high-pressure decisions.
- Document how AI is changing visual design workflows, including measurable impact on delivery quality and team performance to evolve practice methods.
- Contribute to proposals, create case studies from your work, and develop thought leadership that highlights visual design capabilities.
- Identify and shape new creative opportunities with existing clients by partnering with account leads to build a compelling point of view around brand, design system, or experience challenges.
- Manage, support, and mentor team members in day-to-day work, strengthening visual craft, creative confidence, and independence.
- Remain an engaged member of the Visual Design craft by proactively sharing methods, creative references, and project outcomes.
What you bring
- 7+ years of experience in Visual Design across a range of industries, brand types, platforms, and visual contexts.
- 4+ years leading visual design engagements end-to-end, from creative concepting and visual strategy through production-ready delivery.
- 4+ years directing brand identities, design systems, typography, motion, illustration, and digital UI with a consistent visual voice.
- 4+ years producing and directing high-fidelity visual work with exceptional attention to detail, including pixel-perfect deliverables and developer-ready specifications.
- 3+ years directly managing or coaching visual designers, with experience developing contributors into more independent creative practitioners.
- 3+ years working in agile and cross-functional environments with product designers, product managers, engineers, and strategists to deliver cohesive experiences.
- 3+ years delivering high-caliber visual design work that has shipped at scale, addressed complex product or brand challenges, and driven measurable impact across customer experiences and business goals.
- Experience making grounded visual design decisions with deep UX understanding, ensuring work not only looks right but also functions well and guides users intuitively.
- Experience building and contributing to scalable design systems that support visual consistency across products, platforms, and channels.
- Experience embedding AI tools and workflows into visual design practices from concept generation and mood-boarding to rapid iteration and team modeling.
