UX/UI Design Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the team and lead the UI/UX design process from initial concept to developer hand-off
• Create high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to communicate ideas effectively
• Conduct moderated and unmoderated user testing to evaluate and refine design choices
• Ensure designs meet platform-specific guidelines (Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Google Material Design)
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers
• Mentor junior designers and provide design feedback to maintain quality across the team
• Conduct design reviews and advocate for best practices in UX design
• Stay up to date on emerging design trends, prototyping techniques, and mobile UI patterns
• Understand the whole picture and complexity of the project and simplify the complexity into logical wireframes or user flows

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience designing consumer iOS and Android applications
• 4+ years of direct people management experience
• Proven track record of delivering world-class mobile UI designs for a global user base
• Expert proficiency in Figma for design, wireframes, and collaboration
• Proficiency with ProtoPie, Overflow, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects)
• Basic understanding of typography, color theory, layout principles, and interaction design
• Experience conducting moderated and unmoderated user testing
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present design rationale to stakeholders
• Experience with audio products or connected devices is a plus

Compensation and details

Salary range: USD 108,750 to 159,500 per year. Depending on the position offered, additional compensation such as bonuses or commission may be available.
