Job Description

As a User Interface Designer at Coca-Cola, you will shape interfaces for equipment displays, embedded devices, and consumer web and mobile apps, while advancing design systems within a highly collaborative in-office team focused on growth and consumer insights.

Role Summary

Join Coca-Cola’s Global Equipment Platforms team to help define the future of iconic products such as Freestyle fountain dispensers, coolers, vending machines, and digital applications. This role blends modern UI design with systems thinking to craft experiences that reach millions worldwide, within a team that values in-person collaboration and direct user engagement.

Key Deliverables

  • Pixel-perfect production-ready UI designs and interactive prototypes in Figma
  • Clear UI specifications, component documentation, and design system updates
  • Actionable insights and recommendations derived from user fieldwork and observations
  • Compelling design presentations and storytelling for stakeholders and collaborators

Responsibilities

  • Design pixel-perfect user interfaces for equipment displays (Freestyle, vending machines, coolers), embedded screens, web applications, and mobile apps (iOS and Android)
  • Deliver high-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes in Figma, detailing user flows, states, and interactions aligned with established guidelines
  • Utilize component libraries, variants, and responsive design principles to ensure scalable, consistent solutions across platforms
  • Collaborate with software engineers, digital product leads, and fellow designers through in-office collaboration, design jams, and field visits for direct observations and interviews
  • Support UX research by participating in observations, interviews, and feedback sessions, translating insights into UI improvements
  • Document UI specifications, standards, and design system components to enable smooth development handoff
  • Contribute to and champion the UI Design System and global brand standards, ensuring consistency and visual quality across platforms
  • Present, explain, and defend design decisions to peers, leadership, and partners, while embracing feedback

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in interaction design, HCI, visual communication, graphic/industrial design, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on design experience for digital products; embedded/IoT experience is a strong plus
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma including component libraries, variants, interactive prototyping, responsive workflows, and design systems
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Prototyping, wireframing, visual design, ideation, color theory, typography, and documentation
  • Proven ability to deliver and iterate on highly polished interfaces
  • Effective communicator who presents and defends design decisions and incorporates feedback
  • Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, especially in in-person and workshop settings
  • Empathy for users and a focus on creating delightful, impactful experiences
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Pay Range

United States of America: USD 152,000 - 173,800 per year. Base pay may vary by geography, knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and other benefits is offered. Annual Incentive Reference Value: 15%. Long-term Incentive Reference Value: 0 - 20%.
