Job Description

FullStack is seeking a UI/UX Web Designer to craft high quality user experiences across ecommerce, mobile, and web platforms. This contract role involves collaborating with a remote team to design interfaces, wireframes, prototypes, and participate in design critiques.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of disruptive and distinctive digital products.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders, project managers, and developers to deliver exceptional end user experiences.
  • Communicate user interactions effectively through deliverables such as wireframes and prototypes.
  • Create wireframes and mockups of user interfaces using your preferred design tools or in the browser when appropriate.
  • Design web and mobile application interfaces and interactions.
  • Actively participate in design critiques, reviews, and product discussions.
  • Deliberate on the user experience and usability considerations.
  • QA the implementation of your designs.

Requirements

  • A demonstrated ability to design exceptional user experiences.
  • Mobile and responsive design and development are integral from the outset.
  • Able to deliver results whether working autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Experience optimizing conversion funnels and removing barriers that hinder user goals.
  • Understanding of accessibility principles with working knowledge of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions clearly.
