InDev is hiring a UI/UX Specialist in Ashburn, VA for a hybrid role focused on enterprise web and mobile experiences.

Design intuitive, user-centered, and accessible experiences for mobile and web applications.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs aligned with the customer-directed Branding Guide and Section 508 requirements.
Run user research and perform usability testing to improve functionality and user satisfaction.
Work with product owners, business analysts, and developers to translate requirements into effective design solutions.
Support demo creation and end-user guide development.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement using user feedback, analytics, and emerging UX best practices.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Graphic Design, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years designing user experiences for web and mobile applications.
Experience conducting user research and usability testing, plus translating business requirements into user-centered design.
Proficiency with UX/UI design and prototyping tools, including Figma (or similar platforms).
Experience creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for responsive applications.
Working knowledge of Section 508 accessibility requirements and usability best practices.
Experience collaborating in Agile teams and partnering with product owners, business analysts, and developers.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Education focus in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or User Experience Design.
Experience with CBP, DHS, or other federal civilian agency work.
Experience supporting mobile applications, cloud environments, and DevSecOps.
