UI/UX Specialist

InDev is hiring a UI/UX Specialist in Ashburn, VA for a hybrid role focused on enterprise web and mobile experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, user-centered, and accessible experiences for mobile and web applications.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs aligned with the customer-directed Branding Guide and Section 508 requirements.
• Run user research and perform usability testing to improve functionality and user satisfaction.
• Work with product owners, business analysts, and developers to translate requirements into effective design solutions.
• Support demo creation and end-user guide development.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement using user feedback, analytics, and emerging UX best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Graphic Design, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years designing user experiences for web and mobile applications.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing, plus translating business requirements into user-centered design.
• Proficiency with UX/UI design and prototyping tools, including Figma (or similar platforms).
• Experience creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for responsive applications.
• Working knowledge of Section 508 accessibility requirements and usability best practices.
• Experience collaborating in Agile teams and partnering with product owners, business analysts, and developers.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
