UI UX Programmer

The UI/UX Programmer role at Robotics Technologies in Columbus, Ohio is a contract position focused on crafting intuitive UI designs, building and maintaining a Design System, and collaborating closely with stakeholders and backend teams over an initial 10-month term with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders, business users, and engineering teams to define UI requirements
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and clear, user-centered interfaces
• Contribute across the product lifecycle from discovery through research to UI design
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design choices
• Participate in ideation sessions and solution design discussions
• Build and maintain a Design System and a library of reusable UI components
• Ensure a smooth handoff of designs to development teams
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end components
• Ensure UI designs follow best practices and security standards
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance as needed
