UI/UX Designer with React

Robotics Technologies seeks an onsite contract UI/UX Designer to shape interfaces, prototype interactions, conduct user research, collaborate on AI/ML initiatives, and implement designs in React for web and mobile applications in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Carry out user research and usability testing, analyzing feedback to iteratively improve the UI/UX.
• Create AI-powered features and tools to enhance user interactions and overall application intelligence.
• Integrate machine learning capabilities using AI frameworks and APIs for ML, NLP, or predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to refine AI models and optimize performance.
• Produce wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process diagrams, and site maps.
• Partner with front-end developers to translate designs into working React implementations.
• Build reusable React components and integrate UI designs into the codebase.
• Maintain design consistency across the product in alignment with brand guidelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UI/UX designer, preferably with hands-on React development.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating responsive UI/UX designs.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Solid understanding of React.js, including JSX, components, state management, and hooks.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience using version control tools like Git.
• Knowledge of usability testing and user-centered design methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions.
