UI/UX Designer

Craftable is looking for a UI/UX Designer in Farmers Branch, TX to shape user-centered, visually compelling experiences across its platform. This onsite role supports the full design lifecycle, from research and concepting through prototyping and collaboration with product and engineering teams.

You will help translate user needs into clear flows, strong visual design, and well-documented solutions, while also engaging with implementation details such as code quality and debugging. Craftable’s UI/UX work extends into scalable design systems built to support high volume usage and data as the platform grows.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research using surveys and interviews to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to support intuitive, efficient user experiences.
• Produce high-fidelity mockups and visual designs that align with Craftable’s brand and product style guide.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code, and participate in code reviews to support quality and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Stay current with new technologies and best practices, contributing to improvements in development processes and the tech stack.
• Design and build systems capable of handling high volume users and data to keep the platform fast and reliable as it grows.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency with design tools including Figma, and analytics tools such as Pendo, Fullstory, or Amplitude.
• Experience with user research, wireframing, and prototyping.
• A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Basic understanding of the hospitality industry and related technology is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
