UI/UX Designer

Based onsite in Plano, TX, the UI/UX Designer at Intone Networks leads user research, crafts wireframes and interactive prototypes, develops design systems, and collaborates with product managers and engineers to deliver user-centered digital experiences. The role requires a minimum of seven years of design experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform user research, including interviews and usability testing, to extract insights that guide design decisions.
• Lead and contribute to design sprints to rapidly prototype and validate new concepts.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate ideas and assess usability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure the design vision aligns with business objectives and user needs.
• Build and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure cross‑platform consistency.
• Plan and execute usability tests to gather feedback and iterate designs for an improved user experience.
• Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and technologies to keep products at the leading edge of UX innovation.

Requirements

• Minimum seven years of design experience or equivalent work within a technical product or mobile app context.
• Proven ability to lead projects with minimal supervision as an individual contributor, mentor other designers, lead design discussions, and support other product teams when needed.
• Strong problem‑solving capabilities with critical thinking and the ability to devise innovative solutions.
• Proven track record delivering end‑to‑end digital solutions, collaborating with product owners, teams, and other UX designers using design thinking, research, and solid design judgment.
• Ability to shape product visions across the organization.
• Deep, practical understanding of product design and scalable design systems.
• Proficient with modern, component‑driven design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
• Experience creating interactive design prototypes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong relationship management and the ability to influence.
• Portfolio showcasing B2B and B2C products and cross‑platform design work.
• Comfort working autonomously in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with limited supervision.
• Independent, creative thinker capable of departing from conventional solutions.
• High intellectual curiosity, analytical thinking, energy, and drive to thrive in a fast‑moving setting.
• Experience with Jira and Figma.
• Experience collaborating with distributed teams.
