UI/UX Designer
Job Description
The UI/UX Designer will contribute to a DoD TCPED OSINT platform by delivering user-centered interface designs and iterative improvements, with on-site work in Bethesda, MD and potential remote options. The role focuses on creating intuitive UI solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and gathering user feedback to refine experiences throughout the development lifecycle.
Location and Work Arrangement
Bethesda, Maryland with a hybrid work arrangement. On-site presence is expected as part of the role, with potential remote options in alignment with project needs.
Compensation
Salary range: USD 107,900 to 195,050 per year.
Responsibilities
- Create and refine user interface designs.
- Collaborate with internal and external team members, spanning technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collect and analyze user feedback to guide design decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Must possess an active Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Experience using Axure or a similar prototyping tool.
- Experience with user research and qualitative analysis.
- Experience applying UX design principles.
- Familiarity with React and Material.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A genuine passion for creating great user experiences.
