Staff Product Designer
Job Description
Affirm’s DTC team is looking for a Staff Product Designer to help shape App and Card design initiatives that lead to high-impact, customer-centric outcomes. In this role, you’ll work closely across functions to refine how people interact with their finances through practical iteration and data-driven decision-making.
What you’ll do
- Own and drive design initiatives for Affirm’s App and Card experience, aligning high-impact customer solutions with business objectives.
- Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, data science, marketing, and research to deliver innovation and seamless, intuitive experiences.
- Move with agility by iterating quickly, adapting to change, and making data-driven decisions while maintaining a clear future vision.
- Balance near-term execution with long-term strategy to support scalability and coherence across the Affirm ecosystem.
- Challenge the status quo, explore outside the box, and take calculated risks to create meaningful innovation in financial products.
- Apply exceptional visual and interaction design skills to craft polished experiences that build trust and confidence.
- Use a test-and-learn approach, leveraging experimentation, research, and analytics to continuously refine user experiences.

Compensation & work setup
- Location: Remote (remote).
- Salary: USD 173,000 - 255,000 per yearly.
- Pay range note: Affirm focuses on a simple, transparent pay structure based on factors including location, experience, and job-related skills, and employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range.
- USA base pay range: CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT per year: $195,000 - $255,000; all other U.S. states per year: $173,000 - $233,000.
