Job Description

CDW is hiring a Senior Product Designer to focus on the salesperson experience, designing enterprise tools that primarily live within Salesforce. This role supports how sellers manage accounts, configure and price solutions, develop quotes, and move opportunities toward purchase.

Working onsite in Texas, you will lead design end to end, partnering across teams to shape a consistent, coherent experience that feels distinctly CDW. The position spans discovery through implementation, combining strong craft in Salesforce with research-informed product decisions.

What you will do

  • Own design from discovery to launch, collaborating across teams to deliver consistent, coherent, CDW-quality experiences.
  • Create high-quality experiences within Salesforce, applying skills across interaction, visual, content, information architecture, and accessibility within platform constraints.
  • Partner closely with a dedicated UX Researcher to uncover seller needs, behaviors, and opportunities beyond stated requirements, synthesizing research, analytics, feedback, and business context to guide decisions.
  • Work with Product Management and Engineering to shape product decisions, balancing coworker needs with business and technical considerations, and translating insights into practical solutions.
  • Build shared alignment through clear design rationale, storytelling, facilitation, and collaboration across a large organization.
  • Design for the broader seller workflow, anticipating dependencies, edge cases, and downstream impacts across experiences and systems.
  • Stay engaged through implementation by partnering with developers, resolving questions and constraints, adapting designs as needed, and preserving intent and experience quality in production.
  • Navigate ambiguity and evolving ways of working, adding structure where helpful while remaining flexible in roles, process, and how work progresses.
  • Evaluate and improve production experiences using qualitative and quantitative signals to find opportunities that improve seller and business outcomes.
  • Strengthen the design practice through peer collaboration and critique.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of design experience, or 9+ years of design experience.
  • Portfolio or work samples showing strong design craft and judgment across complex, interconnected workflows, including the ability to connect design decisions to user and business outcomes.
  • Experience independently leading design from discovery through implementation in collaboration with Research, Product Management, and Engineering.
  • Ability to work effectively within technical and platform constraints, partnering with developers to make thoughtful tradeoffs while maintaining experience intent and quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, influence product decisions, and collaborate across team and organizational boundaries.
  • Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma and design systems.

Technologies

  • Salesforce
  • Figma
  • Design systems

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Human Factors, HCI, or a related discipline.
  • Experience designing B2B products and workflows.
  • Experience designing internal enterprise tools supporting complex employee workflows.
  • Experience designing within Salesforce, CRM, CPQ, or similarly constrained enterprise platforms.

Compensation

$125,000 - $137,000 per year, depending on experience and skill set.

AI-fluent organization commitment

  • Curiosity, a learner’s mindset, and willingness to engage with evolving technology and tools.
  • Adopting AI as a partner with openness to experimentation and shared interest in learning together on AI.
  • Building a culture where AI enhances, rather than replaces, human creativity and decision-making.
  • Readiness to explore, adapt, and grow as AI is integrated responsibly and effectively into work.
