Sr. Fullstack Developer - UI/UX -Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD)

VTekis Consulting LLP is seeking a Sr. Fullstack Developer with a strong UI/UX focus to join our onsite team in New York, NY. The role centers on crafting polished frontend experiences while applying Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development to ensure robust, maintainable software across the stack. This position emphasizes collaboration in an agile environment and requires hands-on expertise across the full development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Strong experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with React.js (or Angular, Vue.js)
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
• Experience with state management (Redux, Context API, NgRx, Vuex, Pinia)
• Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Jasmine, Karma, Vitest)
• Understanding of component-based architecture and design patterns
• Experience with RESTful API integration and asynchronous data handling
• Working knowledge of at least one backend technology: Node.js, Java (Spring Boot), Python, or .NET
• Ability to design, create, and consume REST APIs
• Strong working knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Understanding of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB) is a plus
• Good understanding of authentication concepts and implementation (OAuth2, JWT, API keys)
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) and backend testing frameworks
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across the full stack
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, agile development environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with version control (Git, GitLab, GitHub)
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and modern deployment
