What you will build
In this role, you will build and run perryhomes.com and MyAccount, partnering closely with Marketing and CX to bring approved customer-facing UI into production. Work centers on modern web development with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and a Contentstack headless CMS, plus a roadmap that later expands to Angular with .NET Web APIs.
Responsibilities
- Build and run perryhomes.com using Next.js, React, TypeScript with Contentstack, and design, build, and refine features on MyAccount.
- Collaborate with Marketing and CX stakeholders to translate ideas into wireframes, prototypes, and production UI for approval.
- Own a Figma-based design system (components, tokens, patterns) and keep it synchronized with code so customer-facing experiences maintain a consistent brand feel.
- Model Contentstack content and build reusable components so Marketing can create and publish most pages with minimal developer support.
- Build and maintain logged-in experiences, including sessions, SSO or OAuth, and protected routes.
- Develop and support Angular applications backed by .NET (C#/ASP.NET Core) Web APIs, helping establish strong patterns as Angular becomes standard for custom apps.
- Own measurable results on performance (Core Web Vitals), technical SEO, and accessibility aligned to WCAG 2.1 AA for every release.
- Use AI-assisted development tools (such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent) daily to prototype, write, test, and document code.
- Deliver work in two-week sprints in Azure DevOps: estimate tasks, write clear pull requests, review teammates’ code, and ship using Git, CI/CD, and automated tests.
- Support business-owned UAT by walking stakeholders through changes and applying feedback quickly.
- Monitor and improve customer-facing properties in production, resolving issues and reducing UX friction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Design, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional front-end or web development with strong UI focus.
- Portfolio required showing application work with strong visual design, interaction design, and attention to detail.
- Strong Next.js, React, and TypeScript on production sites (routing, rendering strategies, data fetching).
- 2+ years with a headless CMS (Contentstack preferred; Contentful, Sanity, or Sitecore XM Cloud accepted).
- Experience building logged-in user experiences (sessions, SSO or OAuth, protected routes).
- Strong Figma skills, including building and maintaining a design system and translating it into reusable components.
- Proven results on performance (Core Web Vitals), SEO, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, with responsive design.
- Git, CI/CD, and automated testing (Jest, Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
Tools you will work with
Next.js, React, TypeScript, Contentstack, Angular, .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, Figma, Azure DevOps, plus Salesforce and Dynamics 365. Testing and AI-assisted workflows include Git, CI/CD, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Jest, Playwright, Cypress, OAuth, and SSO.
