Job Description

Lands' End is seeking a Social Media Art Director to steer the visual creative direction across social platforms from a hybrid role based in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. The position combines three weeks on site per month with one fully remote week and carries a salary range of USD 80,000 - 100,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and refine the visual direction for all social content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and emerging channels.
  • Translate brand strategy, campaigns, and trends into scroll-stopping, social-first creative concepts.
  • Conceptualize, design, and supervise the production of static graphics, animated elements, and short-form video content.
  • Collaborate with Social, Marketing, Copy, and Production teams to develop cohesive storytelling and campaigns.
  • Ensure social assets reflect Lands' End brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries.
  • Stay ahead of social, design, and cultural trends, contributing fresh ideas and perspectives.
  • Provide art direction and feedback to designers, freelancers, creators, and content partners.
  • Manage multiple projects on tight timelines while maintaining quality and consistency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in art direction, graphic design, or visual creative, preferably with a strong focus on social media.
  • A standout portfolio demonstrating social-first concepts and execution.
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices and performance-driven creative approaches.
  • Expertise in typography, layout, color, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience working with photography, video, motion, and mixed media.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere) or equivalent tools.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to receive feedback, iterate quickly, and lead creatively.
  • Experience with lifestyle, fashion, or consumer brands.
  • Familiarity with creator/influencer content and user-generated content (UGC).
  • Motion graphics or video editing expertise.
