Responsibilities
- Define and lead the end-to-end experience vision for EG Ads measurement, reporting, and insights, from early concepts through shipped product.
- Collaborate with product and engineering partners to frame complex, ambiguous problems and explore multiple high-quality solution directions.
- Set design priorities with long-term strategy in mind and contribute to building the measurement and insights experience roadmap.
- Align business metrics with experience success metrics to ensure both outcomes move together.
- Design clear, intuitive exploration and understanding flows for advertisers and partners working with large datasets, including attribution, incrementality, campaign performance, and budget pacing.
- Create scalable, reusable data visualization patterns and components (charts, dashboards, reports, insight modules) and add them to the design system for consistent reporting across EG Ads tools.
- Develop data-driven narratives for executive and internal audiences, translating dense findings into understandable, actionable stories.
- Establish and champion a point of view on data visualization standards, tools, and best practices across the team.
- Explore how AI and agentic experiences can surface insights, explain performance, and recommend next steps for advertisers.
- Analyze and synthesize research and test findings to uncover new insights, then weigh them against technical and business considerations.
- Partner with product managers to deliver improvements with high value based on customer and market insights.
- Design for accessibility and inclusion, with a high quality bar for clarity, trustworthiness, and interaction.
- Use interactive, code-based prototypes, including AI and agentic prototyping tools, to test ideas quickly and communicate interaction and data behavior.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation while knowing when constraints are firm and when to challenge conventions.
- Influence senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Research, Data Science, and Sales through compelling data stories and decision alignment.
- Stay constructive through ambiguity, shifting priorities, and tense conversations, and help others do the same.
- Strengthen feedback practices within the experience design team and with peer teams, and celebrate team wins.
