Stoplight is hiring a Senior Product Designer in Austin, TX (onsite) to lead end-to-end product design across UX and visual craft.

Own UX and visual design for software product experiences, ensuring interfaces are highly usable, delightful, and emotionally engaging
Develop clear concepts and designs for creative assets from beginning to end
Partner with engineering, product, research, and data science to produce transformative visuals and easy-to-use interfaces
Provide hands-on graphic design support to development, including layout direction, CSS, and images
Maintain design quality across all phases of the process and within the live product
Define and codify high-quality visual design standards for the product
Manage execution for typography, icons, logos, assets, and interfaces across multiple platforms
Leverage and build creative assets that support the company design language system
Collaborate with marketing and leadership to ensure consistent, cohesive brand expression
Provide leadership through interaction and visual design across products and services on all platforms
Stay current on visual design standards, changes, and trends

4+ years of experience with end-to-end visual design
Excellent visual and interaction skills
Extensive experience with tools including Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, and Figma
Energy and enthusiasm for solving design challenges while improving users’ lives
A strong portfolio showing creative, novel solutions to complex problems
Systems-thinking mindset, designing beyond the pixels including offline experiences
Experience designing for marketing and helping complex services be digestible for audiences
Experience designing across multiple devices and contexts
Ability to define the design process, lead others through it, and scope work accurately for both self and teammates
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to help teams navigate ambiguity and set vision and strategy for global products

Domain experience in enterprise software tools and software for technical audiences (developers, IT operations, etc.)
