Senior Motion Designer

WPP Production is hiring a Senior Motion Designer in New York, NY (hybrid) to advance motion capabilities and elevate visual standards across campaigns and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support the production team with a team-player mindset and a collaborative approach
• Design motion graphics for multiple mediums, including online advertising, retail environments, and out-of-home
• Apply motion graphics and compositing skills to strengthen visual quality
• Edit video footage and integrate visual effects to enhance storytelling
• Lead and participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new design perspectives and concepts
• Troubleshoot technical and design issues in partnership with creative teams
• Develop creative solutions to address challenges that arise during projects
• Stay current on the latest graphic and motion design techniques
• Drive innovation by evolving the team’s work, workflow, and capabilities
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, quality, and creative velocity

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in motion graphics and interactive design
• Strong portfolio or reel showcasing diverse motion design capabilities
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Exceptional typographic knowledge and design sensibilities
• Strong attention to detail and a careful, meticulous approach
• Ability to clearly communicate creative and technical concepts
• Demonstrated multitasking and prioritization skills
• Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to work on-site in midtown Manhattan for at least 3 days per week
• Nice to have: 3D design and animation experience, including proficiency with Cinema 4D

Compensation

• USD 60,000 - 140,000 per year
