Salesforce UI/UX Design Architect
Job Description
Accenture's Salesforce Business Group seeks a manager-level UI/UX Design Architect to own end-to-end solution design and translate business requirements into Salesforce option sets. This onsite role is based in Morristown, New Jersey, where you will collaborate with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams to shape both functional and technical design. Some travel may be required depending on project needs.

Responsibilities
- Assist in comprehensive Salesforce solution design, contributing to architectural choices across configuration, data models, and integrations under the guidance of a senior Solution Architect or Technical Architect.
- Contribute to translating business needs into Salesforce solution options by participating in design sessions and requirements workshops with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
- Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, aligning requirements with platform capabilities, and be prepared to take a functional role for requirements shaping or a technical role for design grounding.
- Create and maintain solution documentation such as solution design documents (SDDs), data flow diagrams, and configuration workbooks, keeping materials current as designs evolve.
- Identify design gaps, cross-workstream dependencies, and risks, escalate as needed, and participate in resolution discussions.
- Review configuration and development work to ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and client standards, with guidance from senior team members.
- Assist with estimation and scoping activities during pursuit and early delivery, contributing to both technical and functional portions of proposals.
- Pursue Salesforce certifications aligned with the Salesforce Architect career path and help grow the practice by documenting lessons learned and reusable assets.
Requirements
- At least five years of Salesforce experience, including Lightning Experience, Lightning Design System (SLDS), and a mix of declarative and custom capabilities.
- At least five years in User Experience (UX) design, covering human-centered design, user research, journey mapping, usability testing, and iterative design.
- At least two years in UI and interaction design, with wireframing, prototyping, and visual design using tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
- At least two years designing enterprise workflows, with the ability to simplify complex CRM processes and craft efficient end-to-end user journeys.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 12 years of work experience; if holding an Associate’s degree, a minimum of 6 years of work experience.
