Product Designer, Senior Associate
Job Description
The Senior Associate Product Designer role supports Capital One's Experience Design initiatives, focusing on crafting memorable product experiences and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business impact.
Responsibilities
- Combine craft expertise with an understanding of customers and the business to co-create innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Product Design Expertise: Apply a strong foundation in interaction, visual and service design to elevate the design practice, collaborating with cross-functional partners to create journey maps, blueprints, high-fidelity designs and prototypes using appropriate tools, platforms, design systems, and artifacts.
- Human-Centered: Leverage data, research insights and creative problem solving to support customer-centered decisions across projects.
- Business-Focused: Understand the product, processes and partner goals to bridge gaps between customer-centered solutions and business needs.
- Problem-Solving: Gather feedback, assess tech and data capabilities and emerging technologies to inform work and navigate limitations.
- Collaboration: Build relationships with cross-functional partners, identify opportunities to collaborate, and incorporate diverse perspectives to elevate project work and foster trust.
- Communication: Present work to diverse audiences with a human-centered approach, using meaningful evidence and clear articulation of decisions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a Product Design role.
- At least 2 years of experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
