Product Designer Graduate (Design UX) - 2026 Start (BS/MS)

TikTok's Design UX group is expanding with a Graduate Product Designer for a 2026 start. This onsite role in San Jose centers on end-to-end product design, rapid prototyping, and close collaboration across product, research, and engineering to craft delightful experiences for a global audience.

Working within a startup-like environment that values efficiency and impact, you will participate in multiple stages of the product lifecycle from ideation to pixel-perfect refinements before launch.

Responsibilities

• Design for TikTok, the global short video platform serving users around the world.
• Collaborate with product managers, researchers, UX writers, and engineers.
• Participate in every stage of product development, from idea generation to refining designs before launch.
• Rapidly prototype concepts, design user flows using data analysis and user research, gather feedback, iterate, and deliver strong user experiences.
• Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.

Requirements

• Current or recent graduates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• The most recent portfolio must be submitted with the application to be considered.
• Strong in interaction design and proficient at producing prototypes with Figma.
• Ability to rapidly iterate and generate multiple concepts.
• Experience with A/B testing and data-driven design practices.
• Results-oriented and resilient, able to thrive in a startup culture that values efficiency and impact.
• Knowledge of tools including Principal, Adobe Creative Suite, and macOS, iOS, and Android.
• A passion for TikTok and its community.

Compensation

Base salary range: $76,000 – $168,000 per year. Compensation may vary outside this range based on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. This base pay is part of the total package and may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or incentives and restricted stock units.
