Product Designer

NinjaOne is building a suite of PSA and Service Desk products, and this role supports the design of new features and improvements end to end. You will work in a collaborative, kind, and curious community, with full-time work that can be hybrid remote and strong support through a comprehensive benefits package.

What you’ll do

• Design new software features and enhancements that map to the business’s top priorities.
• Own product design from discovery through delivery, partnering closely with Product Managers and Engineering.
• Turn unclear problems into actionable UX through user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI.
• Conduct and synthesize user research, including interviews, usability testing, and feedback sessions, to guide design decisions.
• Collaborate with other designers to maintain and elevate design quality and consistency across the product suite.
• Contribute to and help maintain a growing Design System.
• Maintain a practical balance between speed and craft, knowing when it is time to ship fast and when details deserve extra attention.
• Perform other duties as needed.

What you bring

• Preferred: a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphic/Software Design, or Fine Art (not required).
• 4+ years designing user interfaces and experiences for a SaaS company.
• Experience in IT Operations, Systems Administration, Software Support, or Software Development.
• Experience collaborating directly with Product Managers and Engineers in an agile environment.
• Strong working knowledge of visual design principles and information architecture to create intuitive interfaces.
• Hands-on design/prototyping experience using Figma.
• Proven ability to create, contribute to, and maintain design systems.
• Experience partnering with product management and engineering teams to deliver features to market.
• A portfolio showing both a solid UX process and polished visual execution.
• Comfort working in a fully remote team with strong async communication habits.

Location and salary

Remote (remote) in the USA, with flexibility to work from home if you live in: CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, OH, or WA. Physical offices are available in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL if you prefer a hybrid option. This role is #LI-Remote and #BI-Remote.

Salary: USD 90,000 - 130,000 per year. Starting pay depends on job-related factors including location, market demands, experience, and skills. For roles based in California, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey, or Washington, and for roles based in New York, the base salary range is $90,000 to $130,000 per year.
