Product Designer
Job Description
NinjaOne is seeking a Product Designer to shape new features and improvements across its PSA and Service Desk products. This role partners with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to own design from early discovery through delivery, turning complex challenges into clear user experiences and polished interfaces.
You will translate ambiguous problem statements into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI, while also leading the research work needed to make informed design decisions. Working in a remote-first environment, you will help maintain design quality across the product and support a growing Design System.
What you’ll do
- Design new software features and enhancements that support the business’s top priorities.
- Own feature design from discovery through delivery, partnering closely with Product Managers and Engineering.
- Convert unclear problems into well-defined user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI.
- Conduct and synthesize user research, including interviews, usability testing, and feedback sessions.
- Collaborate with other designers to strengthen overall design quality and maintain consistency.
- Contribute to and help maintain the Design System.
- Balance speed and craft by knowing when to ship quickly and when details require extra attention.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What you bring
- 4+ years of experience designing user interfaces and experiences for a SaaS company.
- Experience in IT Operations, Systems Administration, Software Support, or Software Development.
- Experience collaborating directly with Product Managers and Engineers in an agile environment.
- Strong use of visual design and information architecture to create intuitive user interfaces.
- Experience with tools such as Figma for design and prototyping.
- Experience creating, contributing to, and maintaining design systems.
- Experience working alongside product management and engineering to deliver features to market.
- A portfolio showing both a strong UX process and polished visual execution.
- Comfort working in a fully remote team with strong async communication habits.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphic/Software Design, or Fine Art is preferred but not required.
Location and salary
- Location: Remote (remote), flexible work from home in the USA with residence in: CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, OH, or WA.
- Hybrid option: Physical offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL if you prefer hybrid.
- Compensation: USD 90,000 - 130,000 per year.

Additional information
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
- NinjaOne cannot hire for this role within the city limits of Chicago due to operational policies; qualified candidates residing outside the city proper or willing to self-relocate will be considered.
- Starting pay depends on job-related factors including location, market demands, and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, and PTO.
- Base salary hiring range is $90,000 to $130,000 per year for roles based in California, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey, or Washington, and also for roles based in New York.
