Product Designer

Design at the center of the product as an early member of Reducto’s product design team. You’ll shape the foundation of how users experience the product by owning end-to-end workflows and building the visual language that ties everything together. You’ll collaborate closely with the CEO, engineers, and customers, with design driving the work from research through system-level solutions, without relying on PM support.

The opportunity

In this in-person role in San Francisco, CA, you’ll develop brand new products and user workflows while building and owning Reducto’s design system, brand, and how the company presents itself. You’ll help define structure in areas where it does not exist yet, and you’ll be responsible for shipping polished, user-loved experiences end-to-end.

Since we don’t have PMs, you’ll handle design ownership across the process, including user research, UX flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mocks, and design systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for Reducto, including defining a world-class brand and shipping experiences users love
• Develop brand new products and user workflows
• Build and own the design system, brand, and presentation of Reducto to the world
• Pay close attention to details and help build a culture that highly values design

Requirements

• Strong personal quality bar and urgency to finish work correctly, with a bias toward shipping fast and driving high agency
• Experience shipping complex products for 2+ years, ideally for engineers, researchers, or ops-heavy teams
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and defining structure where it does not exist
• Ability to move quickly while maintaining a deep care for polish and craft
• Active problem-solving mindset, stepping in to help fix issues rather than only identifying problems

Compensation range: $150K - $300K per year. Minimum experience: 2 years.

This is an in-person role at our office in SF, and as an early stage company it requires working hard and moving quickly.
