Product Designer
Job Description
Quadcode is looking for an experienced Product Designer to help strengthen its design team for an internal trading platform delivered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) to other brokers. This is a remote opportunity based in Maryland, with a role focused on owning UX for a key area of the product and collaborating closely with product and development teams to move ideas toward reliable release-quality outcomes.
What you’ll work on
Join a fintech organization building advanced financial products for a global clientele. You’ll support one of the platform’s core product areas end to end, from discovery and validation to prototyping, design QA, and design system contributions. You’ll work alongside Designers, a Design Technologist, Product Owner, Researcher, and the Development team.
Responsibilities
- Own the design and User Experience (UX) for one of the key product areas.
- Design and improve user scenarios and features across multiple platforms: Web, iOS, and Android.
- Lead Product Discovery by collaborating with the team to research user journeys, identify friction points, and formulate and validate hypotheses.
- Create high-quality prototypes, with a focus on micro-interactions and transition animations.
- Facilitate discussions with developers and stakeholders to balance ideal UX with technical constraints.
- Support implementation quality through Design QA/Review and guide solutions through to release.
- Contribute to the Design System by ensuring consistency and accelerating team velocity through high-quality components.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design (portfolio with launched case studies required).
- Advanced proficiency in Figma.
- Proven experience in creating or scaling design systems.
- Product mindset: decisions grounded in data, research, and common sense, with an understanding of how design affects business metrics.
- Knowledge of accessibility principles and the ability to integrate them into the design process.
- Strong communication skills to articulate, defend, and refine design decisions through constructive feedback.
- Ability to self-manage, prioritize a backlog, and drive processes without micromanagement.
- Comfort with shifting priorities based on business needs.
Benefits
- Remote work model.
- Competitive remuneration.
- Friendly, enjoyable, and positive environment.
Team culture
Quadcode’s culture is built on solving complex challenges together. The team encourages open discussion of problems and constructive debate over solutions, with supportive colleagues who share expertise.
