Product Designer
Job Description
Product Designer responsible for designing and developing Traveler’s Choice travel products from concept through production, collaborating with product development and overseas factories.
Responsibilities
- Create and refine travel gear across hard and soft luggage, backpacks, duffels, and related accessories
- Generate concept sketches, 2D designs, and visuals with Illustrator and Photoshop
- Assess 3D CAD files, deliver actionable design feedback, and coordinate revision cycles with factories
- Evaluate prototypes and PP samples, surface issues, and verify alignment with quality and brand guidelines
- Collaborate with product development, sourcing, and global factories to confirm feasibility and production readiness
- Investigate trends, materials, hardware, and construction techniques in travel goods
- Support ongoing product improvements and innovative iterations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field
- At least three years designing travel gear such as bags or luggage
- Strong skills in Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience reviewing 3D CAD files and communicating revisions clearly; hands-on CAD modeling is a plus but not mandatory
- Solid grasp of materials, construction techniques, and manufacturing workflows
- Prefers experience collaborating with overseas factories
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools for concept development and visualization is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication

Compensation
Salary: USD 65,000 - 100,000 per year
