Product Designer

Meta's Product Design team is seeking a skilled designer to shape end-to-end product experiences, collaborating with design, product, and executive partners throughout the full development lifecycle. Based onsite in New York, NY, this role focuses on translating broad concepts into valuable, scalable experiences for over two billion users while influencing the direction of key Facebook products. The right candidate will blend strategic thinking with hands-on design craft to elevate how people interact with Meta’s growing ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Transform broad, conceptual ideas into tangible, valuable experiences for more than 2 billion users.
• Design flows and interactions that distill complex actions into intuitive interfaces.
• Create new experiences or layouts that evolve visual systems and set design direction.
• Contribute to strategic decisions shaping the future of Facebook products.
• Provide and solicit feedback from designers and cross-functional teams to continually improve quality.
• Lead partnerships with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content strategists to oversee the user experience from concept to launch.
• Be prepared to present work to a broader product team and other leaders, communicating goals and concepts clearly and succinctly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
• 4+ years designing complex software products with a focus on user experience, interaction, and visual design that meet business objectives
• Experience conducting advanced usability testing and gathering feedback from varied stakeholders to inform product strategy
• Experience developing and implementing design strategies, leading design efforts, and presenting to executive-level stakeholders
• Proficiency in prototyping tools and building high-fidelity prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts
