Motion Designer
Job Description
The Bravo Creative team at NBCUniversal is hiring a Motion Designer to support premium motion design across large-scale 360 promotional campaigns. This full-time role is based in New York City at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, with four days per week in the office, working across Bravo originals and brand initiatives.
Role Focus
- Create and animate graphics for on-air, social, digital, paid media, and promo spots tied to major campaigns.
- Turn creative briefs into concepts, graphic packages, motion boards, and final deliverables.
- Build, maintain, and evolve branded promo toolkits and style guides so campaign needs are consistently supported.
- Produce custom creative for live events and activations, including billboards, promotional merchandise, and digital deliverables.
Collaboration and Creative Ownership
- Work closely with Directors, writers, producers, editors, and production managers to develop work and align with timelines.
- Share ideas and contribute concepts during brainstorms.
- Act as a self-starter who takes ownership of the creative process, elevating the work while supporting the team’s creative direction and business goals.
- Stay current with industry creative trends across platforms, media, and formats.
What You Bring
- College degree in Design or a qualified design program.
- Must be based within the greater New York metropolitan area.
- Can work four days per week in the 30 Rock office.
- 5+ years of professional design experience in entertainment, streaming, or agency settings.
- Advanced After Effects skills, including typography, layout, motion design animation, and experience building and working within toolkits.
- Strong design, animation, and concept development skills, with a portfolio showing work from concept through final execution.
- Ability to translate brand guidelines into elevated, forward-thinking creative.
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and In-Design, for on-air and off-air creative.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects and shows simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a team-focused mindset across platforms, partners, and workflows.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A kind, curious, creatively driven approach, with a passion for smart, engaging, premium, and fun work.
- Knowledge of the Bravo brand and IP is a plus.
Compensation and Location
- Location: New York, NY (onsite at 30 Rockefeller Plaza)
- Salary: USD 95,000 - 125,000 per year
- Experience: Minimum 5 years
