Job Description
The Motion Designer and Video Editor role at Conagra Brands focuses on producing motion graphics and video content for a range of channels. Working in a hybrid setup from Chicago, this position supports creative teams through the full workflow, from concept to final delivery, while keeping visual consistency across brand touchpoints.
Role Summary
As a Motion Designer & Video Editor, you will combine design, motion, and storytelling to create assets that perform across digital, social, retail, e-commerce, presentations, marketing campaigns, and internal communications. The work includes post-production, optimization for multiple platforms, and collaboration with cross-functional teams from concept development through execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and animate motion graphics for digital, social, retail, e-commerce, presentation, marketing campaign, and internal communication initiatives.
- Edit short-form and long-form video content to communicate stories and support audience engagement.
- Complete post-production deliverables including video editing, motion graphics, color correction, audio cleanup, sound design, and final asset delivery.
- Create animations, title sequences, branded graphics, transitions, and motion effects that reinforce brand identity.
- Convert static creative assets into dynamic motion experiences while maintaining design excellence and brand consistency.
- Collaborate with Creative Directors, Designers, Copywriters, Marketing teams, and Content teams across concept development through final execution.
- Optimize content for multiple platforms, aspect ratios, resolutions, and distribution channels.
- Maintain organized project files and media assets, supporting efficient post-production workflows.
- Support content productions, food shoots, photography sessions, and live streaming events as needed through video capture and production assistance.
- Assist with camera operation, lighting setup, and audio capture to support high-quality content creation when required.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and upholding exceptional creative standards.
- Stay current with motion design trends, editing techniques, AI-enabled creative tools, and emerging production technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2+ years of professional experience in motion design, animation, and video editing in an agency, production studio, or in-house creative environment.
- An exceptional portfolio and show reel demonstrating advanced motion graphics, animation, video editing, and visual storytelling across multiple platforms.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Strong foundation in animation principles, typography, composition, pacing, timing, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Working knowledge of professional post-production workflows, including media management, codecs, frame rates, color spaces, audio, and delivery specifications.
- Experience producing content for digital marketing, social media, streaming platforms, presentations, and branded experiences.
- Experience supporting consumer-facing brands, food brands, or consumer packaged goods.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and project management ability in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting live streaming productions, virtual events, or broadcast environments.
- Experience with 3D motion design software.
- Experience supporting on-set productions, food shoots, photography sessions, or video content creation.

Compensation and Location
- Location: Chicago, IL 60654 (hybrid)
- Salary: USD 64,000 - 95,000 per year
