Job Description
James G. Davis Construction Corporation is seeking a Marketing Coordinator focused on Brand Design to help sustain the DAVIS identity across communications. This onsite role in Rockville, MD combines creative branding work with cross-team collaboration, offering a yearly salary between USD 65,000 and 80,000 and requiring a Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field. The coordinator helps maintain a consistent corporate image by shaping graphic, visual, and multimedia elements across all materials.
Responsibilities
- Supports on-site photography and video shoots, providing in-house photography coverage
- Manages the digital asset management system, emphasizing data entry and asset integrity
- Oversees promotional item production from concept through fulfillment
- Delivers assigned design projects to completion
- Reviews and approves templated jobsite signage packages and sustains vendor relationships
- Builds relationships with team members across resource groups and operations
- Represents and promotes the DAVIS brand to industry peers and clients
- Supports all Marketing Communications workstreams with assigned tasks
- Typically works autonomously within established procedures and practices
- Completes work with a limited degree of supervision
- Can coordinate the work of others but does not hold supervisory status
- Is accountable for work within their own role, with outcomes impacting the team and projects
- Influences own team and adjacent teams through collaboration
- Proposes improvements to processes and practices to boost results and efficiency
- Provides informal guidance to teammates with less experience
- Recognizes and resolves typical problems that arise in own project or department
- Evaluates and selects solutions from established options
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong graphic design skills with proven material production experience
- Proficiency with standard design software
- Exceptional attention to detail with solid proofreading and editing abilities
- Creative writing ability to tailor messages to different audiences
- Ability to work autonomously within established procedures
- Completes work with a limited level of supervision
- Capable of coordinating others without holding a supervisory role
- Accountable for work within own scope, with impact on team and projects
- Influences own team and nearby teams through collaboration
- Suggests improvements to practice and process for better results and efficiency
- No supervisory responsibilities
- Provides informal guidance to less-experienced team members
