About VIA
VIA means “The Way” in Latin. The agency has been finding the way for 33 years for clients, for itself, and most importantly for the humans receiving the work. Started with $4,000 and principles written in a hotel bar in fifteen minutes, VIA still follows the same lighthouse guidance:
- Be Curious
- Honor the Process
- Think Like the Audience
- Create Respect
- Be on Time
- Be on Budget
- Figure It Out
- Find the Magic
- Do Work That Makes You Proud
- Believe
VIA is based in Portland, Maine, where the team works in a 200-year-old library, with great schools, an ocean, and a food scene that’s known for being exceptionally strong.
