Job Description

Based in New Orleans, KREWE is seeking a Junior Product Designer to join its on-site studio and help shape the next wave of eyewear. The role emphasizes end-to-end non-frame product development and requires coordinating input across the design team and Marketing, with periodic travel to New York to align on future opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the full design and development lifecycle for new products, from concept through production.
  • Research trends, color, materials, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for future offerings.
  • Create seasonal color stories and product concepts that reflect the brand’s design direction.
  • Lead the design and development of non-frame products, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Draft clear design briefs and coordinate cross‑functional input throughout the development process.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure products support campaigns, merchandising, and channel needs.
  • Prepare sketches, renderings, specifications, and presentation materials to communicate design intent.
  • Work with Product Development, Sourcing, and external vendors to refine designs and resolve production challenges.
  • Maintain organized product documentation, samples, and development timelines.
  • Support the Senior Product Designer in building a consistent, scalable design process while contributing fresh ideas and creative solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year in eyewear development, with demonstrated forecasting and merchandising judgment.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and drive.
  • Highly organized and proactive in creating and maintaining processes and systems.
  • Results-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a high-performance environment.
  • Focus on delivering personal goals that align with company objectives.
  • Comfort with trying on frames and documenting fit through modeling of the product as part of the design and decision process.
