IT Digital Designer

Melaleuca, Inc. is seeking an IT Digital Designer to contribute to its health and wellness eCommerce platform. This onsite role in Idaho Falls focuses on crafting high level visual concepts and storytelling, then guiding them from concept through final development across web and mobile experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop ideas and concepts and help turn them into tangible designs.
• Provide high level concepts that convey engaging narratives and assist in executing the web team's vision.
• Deliver visuals with strong impact and clarity.
• Facilitate the progression from concept to final development.
• Stay informed about current web trends, design issues, and best practices.
• Maintain a passionate approach to design and pursue excellence.
• Blend clear conceptual thinking with a touch of flair.
• Continuously identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements.
• Collaborate with sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, and other information design documents.

Requirements

• Create clean, modern designs with clear visual hierarchy, readability, and effective use of color, typography, and space.
• Bring a concept to life and translate it into tangible designs.
• Address design challenges such as limited space while maintaining quality.
• Consistently deliver high-quality work across diverse projects.
• Minimum of two years of hands-on design experience in the interactive space; this role prioritizes design professionalism over purely technical skills.
• Experience designing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions.
• Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and the ability to sketch layouts quickly by hand.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML or CSS is a plus.
• Strong conceptual abilities, storytelling aptitude, and the capacity to execute the web team's vision using appropriate tools.
• Ability to work with sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, and other information design documents.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to engage in a culture of active idea sharing.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain consistent quality under deadlines with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery or Prototype is a plus.
• Familiarity with video, 3D, compression, and Internet media delivery.
