Graphic Design / Website Assistant

AES Resources Group LLC is hiring a detail-oriented Graphic Design / Website Assistant to support its design team with both visual and web-related tasks. This onsite role in Orlando, FL is a good fit for someone who enjoys hands-on design work and wants to learn from a senior design expert while building practical skills across digital platforms and marketing materials. The position offers a flexible schedule and $25.00 per hour, with an expected 20 hours per week.

What you’ll do

• Assist with layout design for websites, print materials, and digital media.
• Support typography design for multiple media channels to maintain clarity and visual appeal.
• Apply color theory to develop cohesive, effective designs.
• Analyze and explain how design outcomes connect to visual hierarchy, typography, and overall composition.
• Compare different approaches across projects (for example, websites, business cards, and flyers) to determine best-fit options.
• Work with multiple file formats, including HTML, JPG, and PNG, maintaining proper visual hierarchy and visual weight.
• Collaborate closely with a senior design expert to refine concepts and help execute projects efficiently.
• Maintain technical proficiency with relevant design tools and web standards.
• Contribute approximately 3 to 4 hours per day to support ongoing design initiatives.

What you bring

• Prior experience or strong familiarity with layout and typography design principles across various media formats.
• Knowledge of color theory and how to apply it in both digital and print work.
• Ability to analyze and communicate design choices using visual hierarchy, typography, and overall aesthetics.
• Basic understanding of web-related file formats such as HTML, JPG, and PNG, including the ability to compare builds and other marketing materials.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration and clear explanation of design concepts.
• Technical proficiency in common design software (for example, Adobe Creative Suite) or relevant web tools is preferred, but learning-ready entry-level candidates are welcome.
