Graphic Design Associate

The West Point Association of Graduates is seeking a full-time Graphic Design Associate to strengthen the Communications & Marketing team. This onsite role in West Point, NY supports a mission-driven organization by producing clear, effective print and digital graphics and other marketing materials that help support programs and events.

Reporting to the Director of Creative Services, the Graphic Design Associate will help create design concepts, layouts, and collateral used across WPAOG programs and initiatives. You will work in a collaborative environment where attention to detail and strong design fundamentals matter.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Director of Creative Services and the Communications & Marketing department to develop concepts, designs, and layouts for WPAOG print and digital graphics, collateral materials, presentations, ads, and other related assets using computer software
• Create marketing and communications materials that support programs and events hosted, sponsored, or affiliated with the Association

Requirements

• Strong background in graphic design
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite for both print and digital applications
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
• Comfort applying best practices for version control and file management
• Strong combination of creative and technical problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (experience is a plus)
• Detail-oriented and proactive approach
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field (preferred)

Compensation and Benefits
