Graphic Design Specialist
Job Description
Goodwill of the Great Plains is looking for a full-time Graphic Design Specialist to strengthen its visual presence across marketing, community communications, and brand storytelling. This onsite role in Sioux City, IA supports the organization’s mission by turning community information into clear visuals, producing on-brand campaigns, and helping capture and share community impact.
What you’ll do
- Maintain and evolve the organization’s visual brand across web, social, print, and physical spaces.
- Design high-impact marketing materials, including community toolkits, print signage, and social media content.
- Translate complex community data, goals, and feedback into infographics and visualizations that are easy to understand.
- Create visual storytelling of community impact through photography.
- Plan and execute community events that feel on-brand and welcoming.
- Maintain a visual social media calendar that balances promotional posts with community partnership and mission storytelling.
What you bring
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven experience using graphic design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar programs.
- Knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, with experience creating engaging, brand-aligned content; familiarity with current trends is preferred.
- Strong writing skills, with experience in creative content development or journalism.

Compensation and schedule
- Location: Sioux City, IA (onsite)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years
- Pay: USD 24.04 per hour
