Game UI/UX Designer (Chinese Mandarin Speaker)

Bitus Labs is hiring a Game UI/UX Designer who is fluent in Mandarin to shape engaging interfaces and AI-assisted workflows for mobile, web, and casino games in Irvine, California.

Responsibilities

• Design UI and UX for mobile, web, and casino or slot game experiences.
• Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups, and polished high‑fidelity UI designs.
• Craft game screens, HUDs, menus, pop ups, lobby interfaces, and promotional pages.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, game designers, artists, animators, and developers.
• Build and evolve design systems, UI guidelines, and visual standards across projects.
• Perform UX research to optimize journeys based on business goals and player needs.
• Generate design assets and concepts using AI-assisted workflows when appropriate.
• Iterate design solutions rapidly with a mix of traditional and AI-powered tools.

Requirements

• 2+ years of UI/UX design experience in games, digital products, or interactive applications.
• At least one shipped game or successful digital product project.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI design, UX thinking, and visual design skills.
• Proficient with Figma and Photoshop.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Excellent visual design skills including layout, typography, color theory, and hierarchy.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Chinese Mandarin fluent.

AI Skills Requirements

• Proficient in using AI tools to improve design efficiency and creative exploration.
• Experience with platforms such as Midjourney, ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, Flux, Ideogram, Runway, Kling, Figma AI, or similar tools.
• Ability to generate concepts, UI assets, mood boards, references, and design directions via AI-assisted workflows.
• Open to and comfortable with AI-generated content as part of the production pipeline.
• Ability to evaluate, refine, and transform AI-generated outputs into production-ready designs.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience in Slot Games, Casino Games, Mobile Games, or Social Games.
• Experience designing responsive web pages, game websites, or promotional landing pages.
• Knowledge of animation and motion design principles.
• Familiarity with Unity UI implementation workflows.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable design systems.
• Basic understanding of front-end development constraints and workflows.

Pay

• Salary: USD 100,000 per year
