Digital Designer
Job Description
Blue Nile is seeking a skilled Digital Designer to translate brand guidelines into polished digital experiences across web, mobile, email, and social channels. This on-site role in Seattle, WA invites collaboration with Creative, Marketing, and Product teams to shepherd multiple projects while maintaining high standards of typography, layout, and UI components. The position offers a salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year and requires at least five years of digital design experience.
Responsibilities
- Design digital assets across web, mobile, email, and social channels
- Bring creative concepts to life with refined visual craft
- Implement and evolve brand guidelines across digital touchpoints
- Build page layouts, typography systems, and reusable UI components
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and product partners
- Convert creative direction into production-ready designs
- Contribute to concepting, brainstorming, and design critiques
- Present designs clearly to stakeholders
- Integrate feedback promptly and thoughtfully
- Prepare production-ready assets for print and web projects
- Ensure designs comply with platform specs and best practices
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
- Keep files and documentation organized
- Adapt designs for different formats, sizes, and channels
- Uphold high standards for detail, consistency, and quality
- Stay current on design trends, tools, and digital platforms
- Own assigned projects and timelines
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in digital design, in-house or agency
- A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital work across multiple platforms
- Proficiency with Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Solid understanding of digital production standards and platform specifications
- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and feedback cycles
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams
- Experience designing in luxury retail is a plus
